Studies Class, taught by Deacon
Daniel Morton, is offered on Tuesdays at 7:20 p.m. at Assumption Greek Orthodox
Church Christian Education
Classes 2007-2008 Classes meet from 11:30 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. Preschool/Kindergarten, taught by Ms. Tamara Timko, will meet in the near end of the Multi-Purpose
Room Elementary (Grades 1-5) will be taught by Diakonissa
Laura Morton and Mrs. Rhonda Webb, meeting in the far end of the Multi-Purpose
Room Middle School (Grades 6-8), led by Mrs. Teresa Kellogg will
gather in the hallway adjacent to the Church Office; High School (Grades 9-12) will be led by Fr. Steven as a
multifaceted year of fellowship, service, and learning. Adults – see below Adult

Coffee Hour - 11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. Entering into the Rhythm of Prayer in the Orthodox
Church Fall Session I:

closer to God and participate more fully in the prayer life of the church as

Howard Webb Keeping Our Eyes on the Prize Nativity Session:
November 11 – December 16 (except December 2) A study of the theological and pastoral aspects of 1
Thessalonians Instructor: Deacon Daniel Morton Winter Session:
January 13 – March 2 (except March 9) A study of the theological and pastoral aspects of
this Pauline epistle. It will also function as the “starter course”
for the adult Catechism Bowl competition at the summer 2008 Parish Life
Conference. Instructor:
Fr. Steven Salaris Victory in the Unseen Warfare Lenten Session:
March 16 – April 13 A study of a classic spiritual work that discusses
attaining union with God in the spiritual combat of our lives. Instructor:
Laura Morton Remarkable Rubies from the Book of Ruth Paschal Session:
May 4 – June 8 A study of the two major themes of Redemption and
Loving Kindness from the Old Testament book of Ruth. Instructor:
